Google Reader is a unique tool that could be used to keep up with the latest information on particular topics of study in the classroom. I can see this being used in Science by subscribing to a science site and having students research and write about it. Also students could subscribe to their favorite author and research topics that they are interested in.
Google Documents lends itself to collaboration and discussion of ideas with other students. With Google Documents, students can very easily work together on many documents efficiciently.
I subscribed to 10 different sites and was totally fascinated by them.
